Texas Teacher Reciprocity Agreements

The state of Texas allows prospective teachers who currently hold valid teaching certifications in other states to be able to submit verification of their current credentials to qualify for teacher certification in Texas. If you have not currently met the required examination critieria for Texas, you may be issued a 1-year, non-renewable certification, during which, you will need to complete any deficits you may currently have.
