Teaching-Certification.com started with a simple frustration. Certification requirements differ by state, and the information is scattered across state board websites, program marketing pages, and outdated forum threads. We built this site to put state-by-state certification information in one place, checked against primary sources like state departments of education and the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
We’re current and former educators, plus a few people who came from outside education entirely. What we share is a stake in getting the process right for the next person who has to figure it out. We also think about the people who set education policy. School boards and state legislators decide funding levels, testing requirements, and licensure rules, and those decisions shape what teaching looks like day to day. We’d rather say that directly than pretend certification exists apart from it.
