Criminal History Background Check
For both types of substitute teaching licenses, you must submit a completed fingerprint card with your application to be used in submitting to a background check. You can request a fingerprint card by contacting Educator Licensing at 651-582-8691 or by emailing [email protected]. Take it to your nearest local law enforcement office, and they will fingerprint you. Mail the card in with your licensure application. A full criminal history background check will then be conducted.
