How to Apply for an Alabama Certificate by Reciprocity
You’ll apply online through ACE, the state’s Educator Certification Online Application System, which requires an ALSDE Identity Management (AIM) account. The Certificate Reciprocity application asks for the applicable documentation and fees:

When You May Need Additional Requirements
Holding an out-of-state credential does not waive Alabama’s certification standards.
